Job Summary
Proactively solicit business and manage large group or high-revenue opportunities, aligning customer profiles with appropriate products to maximize property revenue. Identify, qualify, and close complex business by developing effective sales plans, negotiating contracts, and upselling packages against market conditions. Build relationships with existing and new customers through sales calls, entertainment, and FAM trips while executing brand standards and operational aspects of booked business. Develop and facilitate contract execution, utilize intranet resources, and participate in site visits to expand the account base. Requires a bachelor's degree in business or hospitality with 3–5 years of sales experience.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
- 5 years' experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area
- 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
- 3 years of experience in sales and marketing or related professional area
