Job Summary
Senior Manager, Mid-Market Sales Development leads and mentors a SDR/lead generation team to identify, contact, and create qualified opportunities. Builds campaigns with marketing and Account Executives, reports pipeline metrics to senior leadership, uses data to optimize sales strategies, and recruits/onboards new Sales Development Representatives. Key responsibilities include coaching through shadowing and 1:1s, establishing best practices to influence workflows, developing territory plans, managing dashboards, and ensuring alignment with business goals while driving a strong sales pipeline and achieving targets. Proficiency with Salesforce and sales tools (e.g., Outreach) and familiarity with GTM solutions are valued.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years management experience in sales or sales development
- proven track record of delivering sales pipeline
- experience selling a GTM solution (preferred)
- ability to attract, retain, and motivate team members
- experience prospecting into mid market accounts (100-999 employee headcount orgs)
- excellent active listening and collaboration skills
- knowledge of Salesforce and sales technology ecosystem
- experience with Outreach (preferred)
