Job Summary
Senior Manager – Sales for Construction lead strategic direction and progressive leadership to achieve sales and profit goals across locations or a large-scale operation. Design and recommend sales and marketing programs, set short and long-term sales strategies, and manage a team of direct reports. Develop and administer sales plans to attain quotas and customer satisfaction, partner with marketing on initiatives, forecast sales volumes, manage pricing and margins, coordinate order service, recruit and train staff, and maintain relationships with top customers. Requires experience in outside sales, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration with internal departments; travel up to 25% and a fast-paced office/field environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Degree or Equivalent required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field preferred
- 3+ years managing a sales team
- 5+ years professional sales experience in related industry
- 5 years managing staff and programs at national, district or regional level preferred
- 7 years related industry professional sales preferred
- Strong verbal, written, analytical, persuasion and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel up to 25%
