Senior Manager, Revenue Planning and Analysis

Job Summary

Drive revenue planning and analysis across D2C, touring, and retail merchandise channels by partnering with account managers and channel teams to build, pressure-test, and refine artist and campaign projections. Develop practical forecasting models, planning frameworks, and projection methodologies that scale across the business while aligning assumptions with merchandise planning, finance, and operations. Lead recurring executive reporting and business reviews to identify risks, opportunities, and trends, shaping the roadmap for stronger forecasting tools and reporting infrastructure. Establish shared best practices for revenue forecasting and commercial planning to improve accuracy and visibility. This role sits within the Insights team at Famehouse, a division of Universal Music Group, supporting the global leader in music merchandising and D2C solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of experience in forecasting, commercial analytics, retail planning, ecommerce strategy, business insights, or a similar analytical role
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills, with the ability to work across multiple teams and business functions
  • Experience building forecasting methodologies, planning processes, dashboards, and/or executive reporting
  • Familiarity with ecommerce, merchandise planning, retail analytics, touring, consumer products, or artist/label businesses
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and simply
  • Ability to operate in an evolving, fast-moving business where the answer is not always obvious
  • Experience leading business performance reviews, with a strong understanding of P&L drivers and the ability to translate sales performance into strategic recommendations
  • Bonus points for experience building forecasting models and analytical tools, including leveraging modern data and AI capabilities to improve planning, forecasting, and decision-making
  • Familiarity with SQL, BigQuery, LookML, or similar analytical technologies, with the ability to prototype datasets, reporting layers, or forecasting solutions in partnership with technical teams
  • A proactive, curious, and solutions-oriented mindset

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in a major music company is strongly preferred
