Job Summary
Develops and executes strategies to align an organization's objectives with government policies by building relationships with officials, analyzing legislation, and representing the company's interests to local, state, and federal governments. Lead policy analysis, regulatory strategy, and advocacy efforts; manage relationships with government officials and stakeholders; prepare reports, testimony, and communications; collaborate across legal, communications, and other teams to ensure compliant, coordinated government affairs initiatives; oversee multiple projects in a fast-paced, globally focused data infrastructure company with a strong emphasis on governance and public policy.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as political science, public policy, public administration, law, or economics is usually required.
- A master's degree or other advanced degree is often preferred, especially for senior roles.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in government relations, policy analysis, public affairs, or a related role is common.
