Job Summary
Senior Manager, Regional Marketing for Greater China, focusing on China with partial responsibilities for Hong Kong/Macau/Taiwan. Lead marketing strategy and execution for the territory, localize materials for China, collaborate with sales and channel partners, and coordinate with APAC/global teams to align with regional commercial goals. Responsibilities include product localization, content development (print/web), training of local sales teams, supporting product launches, creating campaigns and promotions, translating messaging into various formats (brochures, slides, blogs), amplifying content via social tools, transforming PacBio web presence to Chinese, organizing events (conferences, tradeshows, webinars, seminars), tracking expenditures, and generating regional activity reports. Requires a science degree, 8+ years in biotech/life sciences marketing, strong English/Chinese communication, CRM/marketing automation familiarity, and willingness to travel ~30% domestically with potential international travel; not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in science
- 8+ years in marketing (product, segment, channel, corporate and/or applications) in biotech/life sciences/medtech
- Strong English and Chinese communications
- CRM/marketing automation proficiency (SFDC, Marketo, Pardot)
- Experience with NGS sequencing is a plus
- Travel ability (minimum 30% in-country)
