Job Summary
Senior Manager, Family Access Field Excellence leads field coaching and development for the family access team, ensuring effective onboarding, coaching, and ongoing training across the portfolio. Partners with field leadership, commercial training, operations, HR, patient services, legal, compliance, reimbursement, sales, and marketing to execute knowledge and skill development aligned with approved materials. Responsible for creating development workshops, identifying skill gaps, and serving as a coaching partner to field leadership, with frequent field exposure. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of disease, patient engagement, and product resources, and collaborates with internal stakeholders to scale an enterprise ONEBIOGEN approach to training and field execution. Requires extensive travel (60-70%), and aims to drive executional excellence in patient-facing activities while supporting onboarding for new hires and alignment with marketing messages.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years of pharma/biotech experience in a commercial role
- 3+ years in family access, reimbursement, or equivalent field role
- Rare disease and patient facing roles preferred
- Travel 60-70% including overnight and national coverage
- Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience leading field-based teams or programs
- Ability to develop, coach, and deploy training programs
- Experience navigating legal, regulatory and compliance environments
