Job Summary

Develop global Innovative Medicine category strategy for Biomarkers, translating scientific and clinical needs into supplier segmentation, governance models, and contracting pathways. Lead sourcing approaches, RFx processes, and negotiations while managing supplier relationships, performance reviews, and risk mitigation across exploratory, primary, and secondary biomarker services. Partner with clinical trial, legal, finance, and vendor management teams to align procurement value with business priorities and drive disciplined project execution. Manage a dynamic supply market for companion diagnostics, next-generation sequencing, and multi-omics technologies to ensure speed to innovation and quality compliance.

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree or advanced degree in sciences, business, supply chain, procurement, or related field
  • Working experience in the pharmaceutical, MedTech, clinical development, laboratory services, diagnostics, central lab, biomarker, or CRO industry
  • Experience with biomarkers, specialty labs, companion diagnostics, assay development, clinical trial services, central laboratories, or adjacent R&D/clinical/Supply Chain categories
  • Experience working across geographies and with supplier relationships that cross category teams, business units, and sectors
  • Experience using data, analytics, market intelligence, and approved GenAI tools to support sourcing, negotiation, contract review, spend analytics, supplier segmentation, or category strategy
  • Experience leading or supporting a category strategy refresh, including assessing business needs, supplier market dynamics, stakeholder priorities, and implementation plans to advance category maturity and measurable business value
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with business development, commercial, marketing, scientific, technology, regulatory, quality, finance, legal, and procurement stakeholders
