Job Summary

Define a neuropsychiatric digital health roadmap integrating AI/ML and data science to support patient-centered outcomes. Monitor emerging technologies in digital phenotyping and remote assessment to advance next-generation R&D solutions. Execute strategy by applying longitudinal analytics for patient stratification, endpoint development, and clinical trial optimization in partnership with disease experts. Develop sophisticated statistical and multimodal models combining digital health data with imaging and biomarkers to generate insights on disease and treatment. Contribute to evidence packages for regulatory qualification of digital endpoints while ensuring compliance with global standards. Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate digital technologies into trial design and partner externally with academic groups and regulators to advance novel endpoints.

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (PhD, MD, or equivalent) in neuroscience, psychology, psychiatry, cognitive neuroscience, biomedical engineering, data science, biostatistics, or a related quantitative or clinical field
  • 6+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare analytics
  • Experience in clinical development, digital health technologies, outcome assessments, biomarkers, or patient stratification approaches in clinical research
  • Experience with biostatistics, machine learning, digital health data such as speech, language, behavior, sensor, and/or neuroimaging data, multimodal digital data integration, and longitudinal analysis
  • Track record developing and validating digital health tools, endpoints, or biomarkers
  • Experience integrating digital solutions into patient recruitment, screening, and clinical trial operations
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Track record of scientific contributions, including presentations and publications
  • Familiarity with data standards, privacy regulations, and regulatory pathways for digital measures
  • Experience supporting regulatory submissions
  • Experience with AI/ML (e.g., foundation models)
  • Experience with longitudinal disease modeling
  • Experience with Bayesian methods
  • Experience with causal inference techniques
  • Experience combining digital health data with imaging, blood-based biomarkers, omics, and real-world data

  • Experience monitoring emerging technologies in neuropsychiatry, digital phenotyping, remote assessment, passive sensing, and speech and language analytics to bring forward next-generation solutions for neuropsychiatry R&D
  • Experience executing the neuropsychiatry-focused digital health strategy by applying AI/ML, modeling, and longitudinal analytics to support patient stratification, endpoint development, and clinical trial optimization
  • Experience partnering with disease experts, statisticians, and platforms and clinical teams on study design and validation of digital measures
  • Experience balancing informativeness with low clinical burden for patients and study teams
