Job Summary
Senior Manager, Quebec Claims leads the claims function in Quebec, overseeing complex commercial files, driving operational excellence, ensuring regulatory compliance, and building strong partnerships with brokers and internal stakeholders. This hybrid role requires 10+ years in commercial insurance claims, AMF licensing, CIP or FCIP designations, and fluency in English and French. Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive experience in commercial insurance claims, including leadership responsibilities
- Licensed with the AMF
- CIP or FCIP designation (or equivalent)
- Advanced technical expertise across commercial lines of business, including complex and large loss claims
- Demonstrated leadership experience with a strong track record of team development and performance management
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align claims operations to organizational strategy and financial outcomes
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills in a complex, fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in both English and French is essential to the main duties in this role, including servicing and communicating primarily with majority anglophone and francophone clients, groups, and teams
