Job Summary
Senior Manager, Quality Assurance at Qualys to lead the QA organization for the Cybersecurity Asset Management product, defining and executing the quality strategy across asset discovery, inventory management, and security solutions across physical, virtual, cloud, and containerized environments. Lead and mentor a team of leads, automation engineers, and QA engineers; drive automation-first testing, establish quality metrics and release readiness criteria, and drive continuous improvement. Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, DevOps, Customer Success, and Sustenance teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle and leverage AI to improve test productivity and accelerate root cause analysis in enterprise SaaS environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- 12+ years of software quality assurance experience with at least 5+ years managing QA teams.
- Experience leading QA organizations supporting enterprise SaaS platforms.
- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and quality engineering best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies, LLMs, AI copilots, and AI-assisted software development tools.
- Experience testing distributed systems, microservices architectures, and cloud-native applications.
- Hands-on experience with API testing, integration testing, and backend platform validation.
- Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with performance, scalability, and reliability testing.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
