Job Summary
The Senior Manager of Purchasing leads the MRO Data Analytics team and is responsible for maintaining data integrity related to maintenance, repair, and operational supply information within SAP. This role includes overseeing item descriptions, driving data accuracy, shaping procurement policies, and identifying opportunities for process enhancement. Key responsibilities involve MRO material data cleansing, reporting and analytics collaboration with Finance, leading procurement process improvements, developing vendor relationships, supporting cost-saving initiatives, and fostering employee development through leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in business, food science, packaging, agri-business, economics, engineering, supply chain or related discipline
- 8+ years’ relevant experience in a multiple facility organization
- SAP experience required
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both written and verbal formats
- 2+ years of demonstrated experience in team management/development or project leadership
