Job Summary
Lead and oversee cross-functional Publications Teams for oncology assets, driving execution of publication plans (clinical manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and oral presentations) in alignment with strategic publication objectives; manage staffing, performance assessments, training, and retention; collaborate with Publications Director and Scientific Communications to align resource needs, budgets, and outsourcing; ensure high-quality, timely publication deliverables and maintenance of publication records and resourcing tools; develop and monitor budgets, work with external vendors, and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders to advance publications strategy in therapeutic oncology areas.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
- PhD, PharmD, Master’s Degree preferred (plus relevant certification/credential)
- 4-5 years of medical/scientific publications experience
- leadership/management experience
- ability to understand and interpret medical data
- knowledge of clinical/scientific publication structure and regulations
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ability to build cross-functional relationships
- experience with external vendors and outsourcing budgets
- working knowledge of statistical concepts (preferred)
- proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet navigation
