Job Summary
Senior Manager, Publications - Oncology leads cross-functional Publications Team(s) for assigned assets, overseeing the execution of publication plans including clinical manuscripts, abstracts, posters and oral presentations to meet strategic objectives. Partners with Publications Director and Scientific Communications Platform to align resources, budgets, and outsourcing needs; provides managerial oversight to internal and external medical writers and directs external vendors to ensure high-quality, timely deliverables. Ensures publications align with policy and regulatory standards, maintains publication records and resourcing tools, and supports talent development and retention within the team. Requires a Bachelor’s degree (PhD/PharmD/Master’s preferred) and 4-5 years of publication experience with demonstrated leadership and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree required
- PhD, PharmD, Master’s Degree preferred
- 4-5 years of medical/scientific publications (or related) experience required
- Demonstrated leadership capacity required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated success in presenting to senior audiences
- Knowledge of clinical/scientific publication structure, regulations and best practices
- Microsoft Office and Internet navigation proficiencies essential
