Job Summary
Senior Manager, Property Claims UK at Reserv leads a team of claims professionals handling agriculture and property claims across diverse accounts. The role focuses on driving operational effectiveness through technology and analytics, ensuring high-quality standards and regulatory, internal, and contractual SLAs. Responsibilities include leading and developing the claims team, overseeing intake, investigation, evaluation, settlement, and recovery for agriculture and property lines, monitoring data for trends and process improvements, managing reserving practices, mitigating fraudulent claims, and sustaining strong stakeholder relationships with farmers, policyholders, agents, brokers, and legal representatives. The role emphasizes remote-first leadership, collaboration with internal teams (Account Management, Compliance, Claim Operations), and client reporting with expert guidance on trends and risk mitigation specific to agriculture and property. Qualifications require Chartered Institute DIP CII or equivalent, 10+ years in insurance claims management across multiple lines, 8+ years of management experience (remote preferred), and a proven ability to leverage technology to improve efficiencies.
Required Qualifications
- Chartered Institute Qualifications minimum of DIP CII or equivalent (we will consider those working towards)
- 10+ years in insurance claims management experience in multiple lines of business, preference for property, general liability and/or motor with bodily injury experience
- 8+ years management experience with preference for experience managing in a remote environment
- Comfortable with technology and the ability to evolve the claims systems and processes to drive better efficiencies and outcomes
- Demonstrated commitment to quality, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Integrity, ethics, and a strong sense of accountability in handling confidential and sensitive information
