Job Summary
Manage a team supporting Production Control while driving alignment between material availability, production schedules, and contractual requirements through Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Shop Floor Control systems. Take direct ownership of actions to ensure a controlled, efficient flow of materials and services, maintaining accurate MRP schedules and influencing cross-functional decisions. Lead front-end business start-up activities, including developing basis of estimates, and monitor key performance metrics such as Material Order Coverage and Aging Work Orders. Balance strategic thinking with tactical application to lead Tier Meetings and process improvement initiatives, ensuring materials compliance through adherence to company rules and audits. This onsite role in El Segundo, CA requires an active DoD Secret clearance and ten years of relevant experience in manufacturing or operations.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- Active and existing security clearance
- University Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum ten (10) years prior relevant experience
- Advanced Degree in a related field
- Minimum seven (7) years' experience
- Experience with either Supply Chain, Logistics, Planning, Production Control, Program Management, Manufacturing, or Operations
- Experience using Material Requirements Planning MRP/ERP Systems
- Experience leading daily team operations and/or comparable leadership experience
- Onsite work in El Segundo, CA facility

- Experience filtering and distilling relevant information from complex datasets into simple messages and mediating discussions between stakeholders with varying incentives and arriving at consensus
