Job Summary
Own and cyclically refresh the global product, market, and asset strategy for the healthcare primary packaging portfolio, optimizing for profitability, ROI, and growth. Drive strategic execution across regions through senior leadership alignment, including capital allocation, optimal asset utilization, and targeted commercial initiatives. Monitor and report on portfolio performance across geographies, identifying risks and opportunities to translate them into actionable plans for expansion, optimization, and rationalization. Manage the marketing mix for all healthcare primary packaging product lines, including pricing strategy, portfolio lifecycle, and competitive positioning. Lead new product development from brief to commercialization, integrating customer insights and market trends to define and prioritize the NPD pipeline. Collaborate across R&D, manufacturing, and commercial functions to optimize the speed and success of new product introductions while equipping sales teams with product knowledge and supporting key customer engagements.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Strategic Marketing, Business Administration, Science or Engineering
- 5+ years of product management experience in an international environment
- Experience in primary packaging or broader healthcare packaging
- Proven financial acumen to understand cost models, value selling/market pricing, P&L leavers and margin management
- Excellent analytical skills
- Commercially astute with strong project management capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, identify and prioritize areas of opportunity and lead appropriate action
- Strong multi-cultural leadership skills
- Proven experience leading product through international and matrix organizations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to build effective communications and influence senior stakeholders through adapting content and message to match seniority and scope
Desired Qualifications
- Masters or MBA preferred
- Experience in North American and European Consumer Healthcare markets
- Experience in driving sustainability initiatives
