Job Summary
Lead and scale a high-performing team of Product Analysts and Data Scientists embedded within product domains, driving goal-setting, planning, and execution across the organization. Set rigorous standards for analytical quality, experimentation design, and advanced modeling to ensure outputs are robust and decision-oriented. Partner with senior Product, Engineering, and Commercial leaders to translate ambiguous business problems into structured analytical approaches and shape strategic roadmaps. Champion best practices in causal inference, segmentation, and AI-enabled tooling while building scalable frameworks that improve efficiency and speed of decision-making. Remove systemic blockers to analytics delivery and influence cross-functional stakeholders to ensure data science is embedded in strategic work.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience in data science or a similar quantitative role
- Proven track record of supporting and influencing a product organization
- Expert Level proficiency in Python
- Expert Level proficiency in SQL
- Deep, hands-on experience with statistical modeling
- Deep, hands-on experience with (quasi) experimentation
- Deep, hands-on experience with multi-arm bandit
- Deep, hands-on experience with a wide range of machine learning techniques
- Demonstrated ability to define, implement, and operationalise crucial product and feature-level metrics from scratch
- Proven track record of driving strategic impact through proactive and collaborative approach
- Proven ability to lead technical discussions
- Proven ability to drive product strategy
- Proven ability to communicate complex insights effectively to cross-functional partners
- Experience scaling analytics or data science capabilities
- Experience driving impact through the creation of automated processes, self-service tools, or data products
- Leader in critical thinking
- Previous experience demonstrating the analysis of available facts, evidence, observations, and arguments in order to form a judgment by the application of rational, skeptical, and unbiased analyses and evaluation
- Outstanding leadership skills
- Experience in mentoring, coaching, and developing teams of analysts or data scientists
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to engage, influence, and inspire cross-functional partners at all levels
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and drive outcomes across Product, Engineering, Data Platform and other central functions
