Job Summary
Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing, hedging, and supplier partnerships for the high-volatility frozen fruit category, managing RFQs, negotiations, and the conversion of seasonal commitments to formal supply agreements. Define the Center of Excellence by standardizing enterprise KPIs, building Power BI dashboards with IT partners, and publishing market intelligence briefs to empower data-driven decision-making. Drive supplier performance through quarterly business reviews, maintain dual-sourcing and contingency plans for crop resilience, and align COE outputs with S&OP and Brighter Together governance. Work in a hybrid environment (3 days in-office) with 20-30% travel, reporting to a Procurement Operations Manager.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic sourcing, commodities, or category management
- Advanced analytical skills (Excel/modeling) and ability to synthesize market data into executive ready insights
- Proven ability to lead complex RFQs/negotiations and deliver measurable P&L impact
- Experience defining KPIs and partnering with IT/analytics teams to build dashboards
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability to sit and use the computer for extended periods of time
- Ability to answer phones and use a variety of office equipment
- Ability to lift 15 pounds and reach overhead
- 20-30% estimated travel
- International travel as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Frozen Fruits strongly preferred
- Experience with a Large Language Model (Co-Pilot, ChatGPT, Claude)
- Strong influence skills (lead peers without direct authority); able to train and uplift category managers via COE tools
- Master's degree preferred
