Job Summary
Oversee end-to-end procurement operations, including managing the full tendering lifecycle from document preparation and bid evaluation to contract negotiation and award. Develop and implement cost-effective procurement strategies that align with business objectives while building strong supplier relationships and long-term partnerships. Lead the procurement team, mentor staff, and drive strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize value and maintain compliance. Collaborate closely with finance, legal, and operations to streamline processes, conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide regular performance reports to senior management. Ensure all activities adhere to regulations and mitigate potential risks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 10 years of procurement or supply chain management experience
- Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role
- Proven experience managing the full tendering lifecycle, including bid preparation, evaluation, negotiation, and contract award
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams
- Strong negotiation abilities to drive value and maintain effective supplier partnerships
