Job Summary
Lead the health pricing function, setting pricing strategy and providing technical direction for health products; oversee actuarial analysis, pricing models, and assumption setting; coordinate with product, underwriting, claims, finance, distribution, and regulators; monitor portfolio performance and market/regulatory changes; develop and coach a health pricing team; manage pricing governance and internal/regulatory submissions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science
- ASA or continuing professional education through actuarial exams preferred
- 7-8 years of experience in health insurance pricing or related actuarial field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in actuarial software and tools (e.g., SQL, Prophet, Excel, AI)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of health insurance regulations and market dynamics
