Job Summary
Senior Manager, Payments and Merchant Advisory leads financial crime risk oversight across AML/CTF, sanctions, fraud and scams within merchant acquiring and payments. Partners with senior leaders to enable proactive risk-based decision making, assessing and managing financial crime risks within the WIB Financial Crime Framework. Roles includes advising on onboarding, product design, and channel expansion initiatives, translating data insights into executive recommendations, and collaborating with compliance, fraud, and technology teams in a hybrid work model with in-office days. Focused on proactive risk management, robust control design, and customer outcomes in complex merchant ecosystems.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience in financial crime risk within merchant or payments environments
- First-line advisory capacity
- Proven track record leading risk assessments across onboarding, product design, and channel or product expansion initiatives
- Strong knowledge of AML/CTF, sanctions, fraud, and scams frameworks
- Experience providing risk advice on transaction monitoring, merchant typologies, and key financial crime risk drivers
- Ability to translate data insights and risk indicators into clear, executive-level recommendations
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability across compliance, fraud, and technology teams
