Job Summary
Oversee end-to-end global billing operations including contract setup, invoice generation, and billing adjustments, leading to payment application and reconciliation across all geographies and revenue streams. Establish global billing standards and procedures with a focus on completeness, accuracy, and timeliness while evolving scalable processes, policies, and controls to support complex deal structures and evolving monetization models. Manage the design, execution, and continuous improvement of OTC functions across Zuora, Salesforce, and adjacent systems to streamline operations and reduce manual intervention. Partner with Revenue Accounting, Legal, Deal Strategy, IT, Product, and Go-to-Market teams to ensure accurate translation of contract terms and operational supportability of new products. Lead and mentor a high-performing team, set clear performance expectations, and drive organizational capacity for scale within a complex, multi-product ecosystem.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Billing Operations, Order-to-Cash, or Revenue Operations
- at least 3 years in a people management role
- Deep expertise in global billing operations, including order-to-cash workflows, billing adjustments, and multi-currency/multi-entity environments
- Strong command of billing process design and controls with a demonstrated track record of building scalable, accurate, and complete billing frameworks
- Hands-on proficiency with Zuora Billing
- working knowledge of Salesforce
- Demonstrated experience owning SOX controls for billing or OTC functions in a public company environment
- Experience in a high-growth SaaS or subscription-based company with complex billing models (usage-based, multi-element, recurring)
