Job Summary
Oversee end-to-end global billing operations including contract setup, invoice generation, and billing adjustments, leading to payment application and reconciliation across all geographies. Evolve, design, and implement scalable billing processes, policies, and procedures with defined controls to ensure completeness, accuracy, and alignment with regulatory requirements. Partner with Revenue Accounting, Legal, IT, and Product teams to ensure contract terms and new billing models translate accurately into accounting systems. Lead a high-performing team, set performance expectations, and leverage AI and automation within Zuora and Salesforce to drive operational excellence. Manage SOX control frameworks and serve as the key point of contact for internal and external audit requests.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Billing Operations, Order-to-Cash, or Revenue Operations
- at least 3 years in a people management role
- Deep expertise in global billing operations, including order-to-cash workflows, billing adjustments, and multi-currency/multi-entity environments
- Strong command of billing process design and controls with a demonstrated track record of building scalable, accurate, and complete billing frameworks
- Hands-on proficiency with Zuora Billing
- working knowledge of Salesforce
- Demonstrated experience owning SOX controls for billing or OTC functions in a public company environment
- Experience in a high-growth SaaS or subscription-based company with complex billing models (usage-based, multi-element, recurring)
- Experience leading billing operations team across multiple geographies
