Job Summary
Senior Manager responsible for leading medium- and long-range planning to align demand, supply, production, and inventory in a make-to-order manufacturing setting. Owns the SIOP process, collaborates across Sales, Product Marketing, Operations, Procurement, and Finance to align forecasts, capacity, service, revenue, and inventory goals. Develops and executes inventory strategies to support customer lead times while managing cost and working capital. Drives lean improvements to reduce waste and variability in planning processes. Manages and develops the planning team, maintains data quality in ERP/MRP systems, and translates plans into on-time execution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field; equivalent experience may also be considered
- Experience leading planning in a complex manufacturing environment, ideally within a make-to-order setting
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, forecasting tools, and planning data management
- Ability to work cross-functionally, influence stakeholders, and turn plans into on-time execution
- Continuous improvement mindset with experience applying lean principles to planning processes
- Experience with SIOP, master production scheduling, inventory planning, and capacity planning
