Job Summary
Senior Manager, Operational Safety Programs leads and oversees the Safety programs (ASAP, FOQA, FRMP) and safety investigations to ensure Frontier Airlines maintains high safety standards. Responsible for data-driven analysis of safety performance, coordinating with Flight Standards and Training, facilitating review committees and meetings, tracking program metrics, and promoting the Safety Management System. Requires collaboration across divisions, strong project management and leadership capabilities, and knowledge of FAA regulations and safety reporting systems. This role also involves implementing and maintaining reporting software, coordinating with labor groups, and acting as the POC for ASIAS.
Required Qualifications
- Five (5) years of work experience at a Part 121 air carrier, three (3) of which should be in a safety specialty or an operational group covered by ASAP
- Project management experience required
- 1-3 years of experience leadership experience
- Bachelor’s degree in aviation, aviation safety, or aviation management or equivalent experience is preferred
- Previous experience working with ASAP or an equivalent safety reporting system is preferred
- Operational experience as a pilot and/or FOQA is preferred
- Operational experience as an aircraft mechanic, flight attendant or dispatcher helpful
