Senior Manager - Operational Risk (Enterprise Finance)

Job Summary
Conduct second line oversight of operational risks across Enterprise Finance Value Chain activities by reviewing and challenging material risks, control designs, and assessment quality. Prioritize activity using a risk-based approach to identify and escalate control gaps, weaknesses, or inefficiencies where effectiveness is insufficient. Provide clear risk opinions and practical advice to stakeholders and governance forums, supporting informed decision-making on framework application and risk appetite. Assess root cause analyses, monitor remediation progress, and prepare evidence-based committee papers and risk reports. Apply sound risk judgement to identify trends and emerging issues using data and available tooling.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years' experience in financial services, operational risk, compliance, audit or related disciplines
- Strong understanding of non-financial risk frameworks, operational risk and regulatory expectations
- Experience in reviewing risk assessments, control design and control effectiveness, and applying sound risk judgement in business contexts
- Demonstrated ability to provide constructive challenge and practical risk advice to business stakeholders
- Good understanding of the Enterprise Finance environment in the designated Finance value chain activities
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills, including the ability to assess evidence, identify themes and recommend actions
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare concise risk reporting and present views confidently
