Job Summary
Lead the UK Clinical Trials Business Site Leadership Team to drive operational excellence, productivity strategy, and multi-year cost savings. Own the deployment of the Practical Process Improvement (PPI) Business System, facilitating cross-functional initiatives to simplify processes, eliminate waste, and improve quality and compliance. Partner with Finance and business leaders to validate savings opportunities, ensure actionable deliverables, and provide regular updates on progress and risks. Act as a visible champion for organizational change, building trust across functions to accelerate decision-making and strengthen accountability. Coach leaders on continuous improvement and problem-solving while leveraging AI and digital technologies to enhance operational agility. Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety standards within this highly regulated environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Operations, Business, Supply Chain, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Significant leadership experience within Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Business Transformation, Operations, Supply Chain, or related disciplines
- Demonstrated success delivering measurable business improvements within complex matrix organisations
- Experience owning productivity, cost savings, operational performance, or transformation portfolios
- Proven ability to lead and influence senior stakeholders without direct authority
- Strong personal accountability and ownership
- A proven bias for action and delivery
- Ability to consistently translate strategy into execution
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability with ability to build trust, create alignment, and deliver results through others
- Ability to create urgency and maintain momentum
- Demonstrated track record of delivering commitments through effective action management and follow-through

Desired Qualifications
- Experience operating as a member of a senior leadership team preferred
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (preferred)
- Experience within a regulated environment preferred
- Exposure to AI, automation, advanced analytics, or digital transformation initiatives advantageous
