Job Summary
Senior Manager, Operational Excellence in Montreal leads design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Operational Excellence strategies across sites, driving Lean, Six Sigma, and improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality, cost, and delivery. Partners with cross-functional leaders to identify opportunities, defines and reports KPIs, standardizes processes and tools, coaches leaders in continuous improvement, supports change management, and pursues digital/automation opportunities while ensuring compliance and safety.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
- 8+ years of progressive experience in operational excellence leadership, continuous improvement, or industrial engineering roles
- Professional designation with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ), or eligibility to obtain such designation
- Strong expertise in Lean, Six Sigma (Black Belt or equivalent certification preferred), and continuous improvement methodologies
- Proven track record of leading large-scale improvement initiatives with measurable business impact
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Demonstrated experience in influencing and driving change across multiple levels of the organization, including senior leadership
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to present complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences
- Experience working in multi-site, cross-functional, or global environments is an asset
- Proficiency with operational tools, data analytics, and continuous improvement software platforms
