Job Summary
Senior Manager in KPMG's Business Tax Services practice will provide tax compliance and consulting services to partnerships for clients ranging from Fortune 100 to mid-market. Responsibilities include advising on transaction calculations, partner economics, tax distributions, and other events in the partnership lifecycle; leading and mentoring tax professionals; managing a client portfolio and project budgets; overseeing engagement risk and performance; and contributing to technology/process development and market activities. Requires a Bachelor’s degree, CPA/EA/JD/LL.M. or equivalent credential, eight+ years of relevant experience, and the ability to work in the United States without sponsorship. Strong client service, communication, and technical skills across partnership federal/state tax and related software are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum eight years of recent experience in an accounting firm focused on partnership federal and state tax compliance
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
- Licensed CPA, Enrolled Agent or J.D./LL.M., in addition to others on approved credential listing; one-year runway to obtain designation if not possessed at hire
- Strong technical aptitude and critical thinking; experience with MS Office and third-party tax reporting software
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future
