Job Summary
Own the execution of Everlane's sustainability roadmap across key pillars including climate, water, waste, and circularity. Drive progress against existing commitments such as Renew, Organic Cotton, and carbon footprint reduction, ensuring clear tracking and accountability. Translate high-level goals into actionable programs, timelines, and deliverables while partnering with Raw Materials, Product Development, and external vendors to integrate lower-impact materials and processes. Support vendor compliance programs, manage systems for environmental and social data tracking, and develop quarterly and annual sustainability reports. Collaborate with Marketing to advance sustainability storytelling and embed practices across physical spaces. Represent the company in industry conversations and stay informed on regulatory changes. This full-time role in Los Angeles requires a hybrid schedule of at least three office days per week and offers an annual compensation range of $105,000 - $143,000.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in sustainability, corporate responsibility or a related field
- Experience executing sustainability programs within supply chain, materials, or product-focused environments
- Working knowledge of environmental and social compliance frameworks and reporting standards
- Strong project management skills with the ability to drive multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Feels comfortable speaking in large groups and with the press
- A natural love for market research and benchmarking and rigorous about staying informed on the latest technology and trends in sustainability
- Passionate about global sustainability and making a long-term impact in our climate
- This is a full-time role based in our Los Angeles Creative Studio located in the Arts District
- We are on a hybrid schedule, with at least three days in the office per week, Tuesdays through Thursdays
