Job Summary
Senior Manager of Software Engineering leading multiple technical teams to advance secure, scalable fintech software. Provides Technical Leadership, guidance, and direction to team members; writes secure, high-quality code in Python or Java; manages a 10-person team; establishes standards and best practices across the SDLC; leverages cloud services to build ML pipelines and productionize ML models; collaborates with business stakeholders and product owners to clarify requirements; handles MLOps tasks and production changes in coordination with SRE; applies troubleshooting and automation to improve value; demonstrates eagerness to learn AI/ML and emerging technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- 5+ years applied experience
- 2+ years of experience leading technologists
- Hands-on experience in software engineering, system design, and application development
- Experience with Python or Java
- Experience with AWS services (ECS, EMR, Lambda, EC2, SageMaker)
- Experience with pyspark, Kafka, Terraform, Kubernetes
- Familiarity with CI/CD, security, and application resiliency
- Experience with databases (Oracle, Cassandra)
- Exposure to Agile and Scrum
