Lead end-to-end design and development of scalable software systems, drive architecture decisions, foster engineering excellence, and coach teams to deliver secure, resilient, cloud-based solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training/certification in software engineering concepts
- 7+ years of applied software engineering experience
- 2+ years leading technologists to resolve complex technical challenges
- Expert-level hands-on development experience in Java/J2EE and Spring Boot
- Proficiency in Python for tooling, automation, and services
- Strong experience with AWS services and cloud-native architectures
- Deep experience with distributed systems, SQL databases
- Demonstrated ability to deliver system design, application development, testing, and operational stability for commercially used digital platforms
- Proven track record building and operating large-scale, high-performance digital applications using microservices, APIs, and modern design patterns
- Excellent programming and problem-solving skills
- Experience leading complex projects that improve system architecture, testing rigor, and resilience
- Proficiency across the full Software Development Life Cycle
- Experience building, leading, and mentoring technology teams
- Preferred: experience with Kafka, React, Angular
- Exposure to SRE practices and incident management
- Agentic system patterns and LLM-integrated services for developer productivity and operations
