Job Summary
Senior Manager of Pricing leading pricing strategy across promotional, permanent, and clearance merchandise. Build and manage pricing KPIs and lifecycle margin performance. Drive adoption and growth of regular price optimization initiatives. Leverage advanced analytics including elasticity, competitive insights, and market share data. Lead testing strategies to validate pricing hypotheses and optimize outcomes. Partner cross-functionally with merchandising, planning, finance, and leadership teams. Identify process and technology enhancements to improve pricing capabilities. Lead teammates responsible for price execution accuracy and operational delivery. Build strategic staffing, succession, and development plans for the team.
Required Qualifications
- 7–10 years of corporate retail experience
- Strong pricing, merchandising, planning, or merchandising services experience
- Advanced analytical capabilities and ability to interpret complex data sets
- Experience with Power BI or similar BI/reporting platforms
- SQL and/or Python knowledge strongly preferred
- Strong leadership experience managing and developing teams
- Ability to influence senior leaders and drive adoption of strategic initiatives
- Strong commercial acumen and customer-facing pricing instincts
