Job Summary
Senior Manager of Insights to join Garner Health in NYC, reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer. You will transform proprietary data into industry-leading insights, manage Garner’s thought leadership agenda, partner with GTM, research and development, and leadership teams to turn data into content that builds the brand and drives demand. Responsibilities include managing the thought leadership process from hypothesis to analysis and storytelling, identifying topics where Garner can offer a unique perspective, producing presentations translating complex data into narratives, delivering analyses to support demand generation via webinars, website, social media, and paid media, and briefing senior leaders for high-profile speaking engagements. Cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Product, Data, and other teams is required. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of analytics/storytelling experience, 2+ years of SQL/Python/R experience, strong narrative and communication skills, and the ability to conduct rigorous third-party research. This role requires working in the New York City office three days per week (Tues, Wed, Thu). The posting notes that Garner cannot sponsor employment visas. The target salary range is $175,000-$195,000, with additional equity and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience involving rigorous analytics and storytelling (preferably in management consulting, finance, data analysis, business intelligence, or similar insights-generation function)
- 2+ years of experience using SQL, Python, R, or other data-query tools
- Experience in fast-paced/high-growth environments; healthcare experience preferred
- Ability to analyze large/complex datasets and translate into clear, concise narratives
- Strong communication skills for concise and compelling storytelling
- Experience conducting third-party research leveraging academic/industry sources
- Excellent organizational skills with multi-project management and cross-functional coordination
- Ability to brief senior leaders and prepare executives for high-profile speaking engagements
