Job Summary

Senior Manager of Foundation Relations responsible for delivering a robust calendar of 150+ grant proposals and impact reports annually, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding foundation donors to secure annual, multi-year, and endowed gifts. Role emphasizes foundation research, strategic funding proposals, donor engagement, and collaboration with a part-time grant writer, Finance, Data Analytics, and Donor Relations. Develops proactive strategies for identifying new prospects and managing existing relationships; maintains Salesforce records and prepares quarterly updates for funders; creates persuasive fundraising content and coordinates with other departments and external consultants. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and 3+ years of nonprofit fundraising/grant writing, with excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills and strong organizational abilities. Travel and hybrid work arrangement in Boston, MA.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years fundraising/grant writing experience (nonprofit setting preferred)
  • Demonstrated success in grant writing, reporting, and donor management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Proficiency in CRM databases such as Salesforce
