Job Summary
Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements, including footnote disclosures, and analyze publicly available metrics to ensure alignment with industry practices. Distribute monthly financial results and reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders while reviewing period-end close activities, reconciliations, and variance analyses. Support accounting for hedging transactions, stock-based compensation records, and technical accounting matters related to new pronouncements, mergers, and acquisitions. Partner closely with Legal, Treasury, FP&A, and external auditors to resolve complex business issues and drive continuous improvement of processes.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates based in Dallas, TX will receive primary consideration, though remote candidates are welcome to apply
- Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or related field
- Active CPA license
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant accounting and finance experience
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
- High level of initiative, ownership, accountability, and professional judgment
- Strong data analytics skills
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Ability to effectively leverage AI tools, automation, and data-assisted systems to improve productivity, analysis, documentation, communication, and workflow efficiency while maintaining accuracy
- Strong initiative and ability to work independently, solve problems, and exercise sound judgment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced reporting environment
- Strong ability to drive continuous improvement of processes
- Experience leading project teams or coordinating the work of others to achieve project goals
- May be required to lift or move 10+ pounds
Desired Qualifications

- Big 4 public accounting or related large public company experience
- Experience with SEC reporting and IPO readiness
- M&A transaction experience, including purchase accounting and integration
- Experience in accounting for equity grants and stock-based compensation
- Familiarity with Oracle Fusion, Shareworks, and Workiva
