Job Summary
Manage the hiring, development, coaching, and performance of Data & Analytics Team Members while guiding the team through the evolution of the organization's data stack. Lead the streamlining and modernization of data architecture, including evaluating, planning, and implementing platforms as part of the strategy. Build and execute plans to meet evolving organizational needs by acting as a trusted advisor across departments, translating business questions into data and reporting solutions. Establish and enforce data governance, quality, and integrity standards across engineering and reporting deliverables to safeguard data integrity and support reliable business decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Strong technical proficiency across Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Power BI (or comparable cloud data platform and BI tools)
- Experience with SQL and data modeling
- Working knowledge of ETL/ELT design and data governance practices
Desired Qualifications
- 5-8 years of progressive experience in data engineering, business intelligence, or data analytics
- 2+ years in a formal leadership or team management capacity
- Led the streamlining and modernization of data architecture, including evaluating, planning, and implementing platforms as part of the platform strategy
