Job Summary
Senior Manager of Business Development | Drives commercialisation and global IP monetisation by leading client development, licensing discussions, cross-border negotiations, and end-to-end contract execution. Responsible for identifying global opportunities with automotive OEMs and technology partners, designing commercial solutions, overseeing IP asset strategy, and maintaining long-term client relationships while achieving annual revenue targets. Requires 10+ years in business development/IP licensing, a bachelor’s degree or higher, and experience in automotive or cross-border technology collaboration. Hybrid working available between base location/home in Coventry, UK.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Engineering, Automotive, or a related field
- 10+ years of relevant experience in business development, IP licensing, technology commercialisation or industrial strategic cooperation
- Proven track record of IP licensing/project delivery
- Experience in automotive industry, overseas business development or cross-border technology cooperation preferred
- Familiarity with UK and EU commercial compliance and cross-border transaction regulations desirable
