Job Summary
Senior Manager of Applications Engineering (Bioprocessing Design) leads multiple AE teams to design complex custom bioprocessing solutions, optimize workflows, and develop scalable structures. Drives regional strategic vision, collaborates cross-functionally with senior leadership, mentors managers and supervisors, and ensures high-quality, cost-effective solutions aligned with regulatory and industry standards. On-site leadership role based in Camarillo, CA, overseeing engineers, drafters, technicians, and project coordinators; requires advanced engineering degree and substantial experience in a regulated biopharma context.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering Biomedical Engineering Chemical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Industrial Engineering Industrial Technology or equivalent technical discipline
- 10 years of engineering experience in a highly regulated industry (pharmaceutical applicable)
- 5 years of technical management or leadership of cross-disciplinary engineering teams
