Senior Manager of Accounting

Job Summary
Senior Accounting Manager will report to the CAO and maintain books for fund entities, assist quarterly reporting to investors, lenders and management, and coordinate with property management to review accounting close for investment properties and ensure REIT compliance. Responsibilities include reviewing property-management close, participating in NAV and financial statement processes, reviewing investor reporting and capital calls/distributions, ensuring asset-level financial reporting and timely lender reporting, preparing monthly cash management waterfalls for investment properties, maintaining fund books in Yardi, assisting with annual audits and KYC requests, monitoring fund agreements/compliance, and collaborating with CloudHQ corporate for accounts payable coding and fund recharges.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Qualified CPA (with consideration of CPA candidates on a case-by-case basis)
- 7+ years’ REIT/Real Estate fund accounting experience
- Knowledge of US GAAP
