Job Summary

Own a portfolio of pipeline interventions, driving several candidates through the Accelerator's stage-gate process to decide what advances, reshapes, or exits. Interrogate evidence bases on effect sizes, quality, and external validity, then model impact and cost-effectiveness under uncertainty with the Cost-Effectiveness team. Design and run decision-relevant learning activities, including scoping, formative research, and pilots, to unblock go/no-go decisions. Craft compelling, evidence-grounded investment cases while aligning researchers, implementers, governments, and donors. Lead conversations with study authors and funders to source new ideas, and collaborate with Growth and Country Teams to build resourcing and partnerships. Strengthen the Accelerator's methods and mentor analysts. Report to the Accelerator Director with a dotted line to the West Africa Regional Lead. This preferred base is in Abuja, Nigeria, with up to 25% international travel.
