Job Summary
Senior Manager, Merchandise Financial Planning leads and develops a high-performing Global Merchandise Planning Insights team to own the merchandise financial planning process globally, aligning gender, category, and class level targets with growth objectives. Owns long-range category plans, seasonal frameworks, and cluster MFPs; drives in-season performance recaps and analyzes risks and opportunities to optimize inventory and sales; consolidates buy review and investment materials for executive decision-making; supports pre-season milestones with financial inputs; partners with Finance to align plans with forecasts; conducts ad hoc deep dives and delivers data-driven recommendations to cross-functional partners. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business with financial/data analytics background, 6+ years in analytics/planning, and strong people-management and storytelling skills; hybrid work arrangement based in San Francisco, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business with financial, Data Analytics/Statistics related field
- 6+ years of experience in data analytics, planning, business intelligence, or reporting
- Proven people management skills
- Strategic mindset with ability to translate data into business narratives
- Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and statistical analysis techniques
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in planning, merchandising, and product
