Job Summary

Senior Manager, Marketing Editorial and Web Content (Temporary) leads editorial management of website content, oversees the Web Content team and freelance writers, ensures brand voice and AP style consistency across all site materials, and drives content strategy and timelines. Responsibilities include assigning and editing freelance copywriters, producing and fact-checking high-quality marketing copy, coordinating with Marketing, Digital Experience, Programming, and other teams, developing editorial narratives for seasonal programming, presenting content plans to stakeholders, managing editorial workflows, and maintaining master descriptions and bios. Requires multi-project leadership, strong editing and proofreading, and a track record of delivering on-brand content within arts/nonprofit contexts. Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and 5+ years in editorial/digital content management with team leadership; experience with Monday.com is preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, Performing Arts, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years in editorial management, digital content management, and marketing—ideally within arts, culture, media, or nonprofit sectors
  • Experience managing a team, running daily standups, and overseeing workload distribution
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, deadlines, and cross-functional workflows; familiarity with Monday.com preferred
  • Experience managing a team of freelance writers; experience partnering with marketing, programming, creative, and freelance contributors
  • Strong line editing, proofreading, and fact-checking skills; ability to ensure brand voice and AP Style
  • Proven ability to align stakeholders across teams and departments
