Job Summary
Lead and develop a high-performing Manufacturing Engineering team across multiple food manufacturing facilities, providing coaching and technical leadership. Establish engineering standards, best practices, and governance to ensure operational excellence, while partnering with Operations, Reliability, Quality, and Supply Chain to drive continuous improvement in productivity, yield, and overall equipment effectiveness. Serve as the lead for major capital projects, guiding scope development, design reviews, commissioning, and startup validation. Analyze manufacturing processes to identify root causes, lead capacity planning and network optimization, and support product commercialization through feasibility assessments and launch readiness planning. Promote equipment standardization and replication of best practices across the network to support long-term manufacturing capability and business growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 8+ years of engineering experience within food, beverage, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or similar manufacturing environments
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing engineers, technical teams, or cross-functional initiatives
- Experience supporting manufacturing operations through process optimization, manufacturing engineering, capital project execution, continuous improvement, or operational excellence initiatives
- Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-site engineering programs
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production systems, and operational performance metrics
- Ability to travel up to 60 to 75% within North America (U.S. and Canada)

- Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Chemical, or related disciplines
- Experience in food and in prior GMP/FSMA facilities
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement certification
- Prior experience with large-scale capital projects
