Senior Manager / Manager – Coal Road Transportation

Plan and optimize manpower, machinery, vendor resources, diesel, and materials for efficient coal road transportation. Liaise with local government authorities to ensure statutory compliance and obtain Dispatch Orders from project sites. Identify and maintain a vetted panel of lifters based on capacity, compliance, and cost-efficiency. Oversee vehicle deployment, route conditions, and daily dispatch progress against targets while coordinating with site teams and weighbridges. Implement corrective actions to avoid delays and ensure all documentation, including mining and forest challans, is accurate and archived. Monitor transporter payments and rate finalization to maintain cost-effective operations. Report lifting status and trip details to management and clients.
