Job Summary
Review monthly financial packages, CAM/Tax reconciliations, and property cash positions to ensure accurate forecasts. Work with auditors on year-end engagements and review financial reports for partners. Supervise, coach, and mentor accountants while collaborating cross-functionally with property, asset, and leasing teams. Lead special projects, assist with property acquisition/disposition, and challenge existing processes to enhance efficiency and automation. This role requires a CPA designation, 8+ years of senior property accounting experience, and proficiency with Yardi Voyager. The position offers unlimited career growth, mentorship from industry leaders, and an annual salary range of $125,000 to $150,000. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce, major in Accounting, or a diploma in accounting
- A CPA (CGA, CMA or CA) designation
- At least 5 years of supervisory experience
- 8+ years of accounting experience at senior level in property management accounting
- Proven ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment with tight closing deadlines and meet internal and external reporting deliverables
- Strong working knowledge of complex recovery models and lease interpretations
- Exceptional interpersonal, Oral, and written communications skills
