Job Summary
As Senior Manager – Investment Strategy & ALM, you will support the Head of Investments in formulating and implementing investment strategy. Responsibilities include optimising strategic asset allocation to maximise risk and capital adjusted returns, ensuring robust asset-liability management, and overseeing third-party managers. Key skills required include strong analytical capabilities, effective communication skills to present complex information, and expertise in regulatory reporting and risk systems. Experience in investment management within the insurance sector and professional qualifications such as CFA or FIA are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in investment management, strategy or manager oversight roles preferably within the insurance sector
- Asset-liability management experience
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to challenge and interrogate managers’ capital market views and portfolio construction
Desired Qualifications
- CFA or FIA qualified
- Deep understanding of the Lloyd’s insurance market regulatory landscape
- Expert proficiency in performance and risk systems (e.g. Aladdin, PowerBI)
