Job Summary
Senior Manager, International Accounting role focused on overseeing international accounting across multiple entities, strengthening statutory reporting, coordinating with third-party providers, and transitioning activities toward centralized/shared services aligned with U.S. GAAP and Circana policies. Responsibilities include leading monthly/quarterly/annual close for international entities, statutory reporting, coordinating with third-party firms, transitioning activities to internal teams, reviewing journals/reconciliations/intercompany activity, ensuring internal controls and SOX compliance, monitoring regulatory changes, and partnering with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Legal, and other teams to support cross-border initiatives and transfer pricing. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 6–10 years of accounting experience, strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, multi-entity/multi-country experience, and ability to manage external providers; CPA and experience in SOX environments and tools (NetSuite, Dynamics, Coupa, BlackLine) are preferred. Location: Chicago, IL or Remote, US.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 6–10 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Experience managing multi-entity and multi-country accounting and reporting
- Experience coordinating and working with third-party accounting firms
- Management experience preferred, not required; open to candidates who demonstrate strong ownership and leadership potential
- Experience in SOX environments and internal control frameworks (preferred)
- Experience using NetSuite, Dynamics, Coupa and BlackLine (preferred)
- CPA (preferred)
- Experience in multinational, data-driven, or technology-enabled organization (preferred)
