Job Summary
Senior Manager, Ingredient Sourcing overseeing procurement and supplier management for dry goods, frozen, and dairy in a food-service commissary environment. Responsibilities include developing sourcing strategies, negotiating contracts, ensuring product quality, managing supplier relationships, overseeing category data, and coordinating with FSQA and cross-functional teams. Requires strong negotiation, contract management, knowledge of ingredient categories and market dynamics, and the ability to travel to supplier sites. Hybrid work model with 3 in-office days per week in Parsippany, NJ. Bachelor’s degree and 7–10 years in procurement/sourcing in CPG/fresh food or QSR; ERP experience advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field / equivalent experience
- 7 - 10 years experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management within the CPG, fresh food manufacturing, multi-unit or QSR restaurant vertical
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Deep knowledge of ingredient categories, market trends, distribution landscape and supply chain dynamics
- Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with ERP systems is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel as needed to visit suppliers and production sites
